Mr. Wilson has been a member of the Peter Pupping Quartet for the past thirteen years and performs on their three albums Sea Journey, Samba Nights and Embarcadero. At Guitar Sounds Studios in Encinitas, California, he teaches private guitar lessons. Currently Mr. Wilson also serves as Assistant Conductor of the Encinitas Guitar Orchestra, a community ensemble of twenty-five players.
His teaching career began nearly a decade ago. Students range from young beginners to older more experienced players. Students have gone on to conservatories such as New England Conservatory of Music, some have recorded CDs and given concerts, and many have trained for a professional career. Many students have no such ambitions and do most of their concertizing in their own living room. Either way, William has something to offer students at any level. His goal is to make students learn the best in guitar technique while having a great time. For more on William please visit WilliamWilson.com.
